Okhil Chandra Sen wrote this letter to the Sahibganj divisional railway office in 1909. It is on display at the Railway Museum in New Delhi. It was also reproduced under the caption âTravellersâ Talesâ in the Far Eastern Economic Review.
Any guesses why this letter is of historic value?

So due to Jack fruit we got toilets in Railways!! Also I thank God that it happened in 1909, if that case happens today then our Politicians will ban eating Jack fruit during journey rather than introducing toilets to Railways.![[IMG]](proxy.php?image=http%3A%2F%2Fiys.radhagopinath.com%2Fwp-includes%2Fimages%2Fsmilies%2Ficon_smile.gif&hash=8354eb5a4105d009b5888be48e66cc73)
