Hi guys.. I am having a hard time thinking, what would be the possible topics/proposals related to electronics about our theme "Techno-Green: Engineering a Better life towards Environmental Sustainability"? Thank you for your help.

    Consider this. All are bothered about anthropogenic global warming, mostly targeting fossil fuel use. One statement of the second law of thermodynamics is that the universe is going to a state of lowest energy. On earth this has a significance. We have become profligate in power use, fossil fuel or otherwise. It is reported that a single Google search consumes 1.5 kwhr power. All electric power consumed ultimately becomes heat sent into the atmosphere.
    Biological Photo Voltaics, which may use part of this low grade heat and solar insolation to generate cleaner power than regular solar PV.
