Send Scented Messages With Scentee (ChatPerf) Smartphone Addon

If you miss the days when you wrote love letters on the piece of paper and then added a few drops of perfume on it to make it even more personal for the recipient; then worry no more. Say hello to Scentee - a smartphone addon that lets you send scent along with your message. If you know your mom's tired after a hard day, you can send her a relaxing scent via this add-on. Not only that, you can even add the scent along with the notification sound. The creators think that this addon will be incredibly useful while playing games; for example, in a first person shooting game each shot can be accompanied with scent of gunpowder. Of course, we'd be more creative with this kind of a gadget.

The company wants to make money by selling different types of 'scent tanks'. Scentee has released an SDK that links the applications with the device and expects that it'll be adopted by independent developers and app design & development companies worldwide.

The demonstration is currently available on the iPhone 4S, but the Scentee team says they'll work on Android compatible device as well. The device which currently fits into the docking port of iPhone 4S will then work with the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.
