Remote-Controlled Helicopter-Bike Awes In Maiden Flight At Prague

I've always maintained that bicycles are awesome, any which kind, and there are three Czech companies who have collaborated to make the very same asphalt-kissing bikes look old school. They've developed this remote-controlled prototype of an electric helicopter-bicycle that accomplished a successful five-minute flight demo inside an exhibition hall in Prague, as every cyclist among the audience who watched it in action creamed in awe. Weighing 95 kg (209 pounds), it contains two battery-powered propellers in the front, two in the back and one on each sides. But even these propeller pods are not capable of carrying a real human yet, so a dummy got to saddle the maiden flight instead, much to others' envy. And mine too. Imagine chasing Superman in similar high-powered nitro-boosted flying awesomeness! Or just imagine flying high and revenge-pooping over birds! *Devil's Laughter* You get my feel?

Milan Duchek, technical director of Duratec, a bicycle frames maker, assures that more powerful propellers can contain a human on-board, but considering the bike's width and the fact that vertical flight poses an extreme level of danger, this vehicle looks like an impractical human-ride at least for now. But that doesn't mean it's out of my fantasy-list, for if I get to enjoy this flying-bicycle's service, screw impractical and screw danger, I'm all game to take a flight.

Now read enough of it? Check out the cool fly-bike in action here-

This is just the beginning, let this go wild and create flying bikes and scooters, or maybe they'll be called 'flikes' and 'flooters'. Technology just grows crazier these days. And so does innovation! 👍

The side propellers are not "clearly" visible in the post-image. Do check the video, there you'll find them. 😀 They're smaller as compared to the front and back propellers.
