The official price of OnePlus one in India is Rs. 21999 for the 64GB, sandstone black model. Also, that's the only model available to Indians as OnePlus One had declared that it will not sell the 16 GB, silk white model in India. Those who've been patiently waiting for the launch of OnePlus One in Indian markets will be able to buy it exclusively from Amazon India [#-Link-Snipped-#]. But buying isn't very straightforward. You will need a special invite from OnePlus to be able to place your order on Amazon. These invites will be mailed to about 1000 of the select subscribers of the OnePlus newsletter on Amazon.
If you received an invite and are planning to place your order, please be aware of the recent developments on the software front. The India-bound OPO will not ship with Micromax & Cyanogen Deal In India Proves To Be A Bitter Pill For OnePlus Customers operating system. Instead, the OnePlus One will have its own customised version of Android 4.4. OPO's India officials have already promised that the new firmware will have all the new features that they developed in-house. The hardware specifications remain the same which include 3GB RAM, Adreno 330, 578 MHz GPU, Snapdragon 801, quad-core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC 65T, 5.5" JDI 1080p gorilla glass protected display that offers 401 ppi density.
Once you receive your invite to buy the OnePlus One, you will have to associate it with your OnePlus account. There will be a unique URL in your invite that will take you to the buy page. On that page, you will be able to order your phone via Amazon. Note that you will not have lifetime to order your phone once you receive your invite. There's a time-frame of only 48 hours from the time you receive your invite till the time you can actually make the payment. If you fail to make payment within the time frame, your invite will expire and you won't be able to buy the phone!
