New Volkswagen Jetta In India With TDI And TSI Engine Options Available At Price Of Rs 13.70 Lakh

Volkwagen, the European car manufacturer, has launched the all new Jetta in India with a bag full of new features. The New Volkswagen Jetta is available in two engine options - 2.0L TDI and 1.4L TSI and three trim levels. Now available across all the Volkswagen showrooms across India, the new Jetta is priced at Rs. 13.70 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The new version of the Volkswagen Jetta features powerful Xenon headlamps with headlamp washers, LED daytime running lights, dual-zone Climatronic AC, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The engines on offer are 1.4l TSI offering 122 PS power and 200 Nm torque, and 2.0 TDI offering 140 PS power and 320 Nm torque. The diesel engine is offered in a choice of manual and automatic (6 speed DSG), while the petrol is offered with only manual transmission with 6 speed manual.

Other new features of the new Volkswagen Jetta include 12-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, 60:40 folding rear seat, front- and rear-mounted proximity sensors, high-end Bluetooth-compatible music system, advanced digital instrument panel with multi-function display (MFD), cruise control and paddle shifters for the DSG gearbox. The 1.4l TSI is offered in two trims, Trendline and Comfortline, whilst 2.0l TDI (MT) gets Trendline, Comfortline and Highline, and the AT will only be offered in Highline. With Trendline Jetta you get Body-coloured exterior door handles and mirrors, Fullsize spare wheel (steel), 16 inch “Navarra” Alloy wheels (set of 4), Rear AC vents Lockable and illuminated glove compartment, “Cardeol” Fabric seat upholstery Disc brakes, front & rear Side air bags, front Front seats with height adjustment.


Among the safety features, the brand new Jetta brings the anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic stabilization program (ESP) and 6 airbags on its specifications list. There's 510-litres of boot space, decorative chrome strip on side, Front center armrest with storage box, Decorative wood inserts for dashboard and doors Leatherette upholstery. On the new Jetta's interiors you will find disc brakes - front & rear, Electronic engine immobilizer, Central locking with 2 remote control folding keys, “Climatic” Air conditioner, “RCD 510″ touchscreen music system with MP3 player including 6 CD changer, SD Card reader, Aux-in & 8 speakers and all Trendline and Comfortline features.
