Anti-virus is a subset of anti-malware.
Malware includes virus + other malicious elements like trojans, worms, keyloggers etc.
You can argue that companies offering anti-virus software offers all the anti-malware properties, it is just that, for a customer, anti-virus is something that attracts more. -

'Malware' is a generic word for all things that are 'not intended' on your computer or system (mobile, tablet, laptop, netbook and so on). So a virus is a sub-set of malware and so is the trojen.
When you have software programs that nullify the effect of the malware; we'd call them as 'anti-malware'. It's simple.
