  • The primarily "mobile only" application, Instagram is now making serious inroads into the website based market. Until yesterday, the Instagram website had much less features compared to the Instagram mobile application. The new website added an activity bar, symbolized as a heart inside a comment balloon which works like the notification bar in the mobile application.

With this sudden intelligent move by the premier photo sharing application, Instagram has kept its promise of improving it accessibility for people who lack a smartphone.
