Huawei Ascend Smartphone Series Hold 16-Core Graphics Processor
These days, Huawei is making a good product line with its high-end smartphones. The latest model from Huawei, Ascend D Quad Phone packs a powerful quad core processor with 16 core graphics processor, running Android's Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition to that, the phone even supports LTE for high-speed mobile broadband.

In a broader sense, the device holds a 4.5 inch 720p (330ppi pixel density) display to help you immerse into its endless entertainment options. It even integrates the most famous Dolby 5.1 sound technology to expand your basic audio throughout your room. It would let you wonder how a small speaker is powered to spread those soothing sound waves all around.
Despite of these incredible features, the phone just packs itself within an 8.9 mm cabin with an 1800 mAh battery as well. But I guess every Android smartphone just have a battery life of about a day or two. Interestingly, the processor pressed into the phone is actually Huaweiâs own K3 chip which is basically a quad-core A9 chip with 16 GPU cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. The device runs far better than the Tegra 3 while reducing 50 percent power consumption, thus meliorating your on-the-go entertainment.
The company will be releasing a chain of Ascend smartphones: The Ascend D Quad XL and the Ascend D1. The former is similar to that of the D Quad; instead it packs a 2300 mAh battery; seems to be a historical performer in Android platform. The latter is more or less the Dual-Core version of the former. Huawei hasnât revealed the cost but the company has confirmed the launch will be in the U.S. market first.
