Team Connectify is back with a new cloud service that lets you, both PCs and Macs, combine your multiple Internet connections to form a thick connection pipe to get improved Internet speeds and reliability. The service identifies all the available connections for your computer; be it your Wi-Fi, 3G/4G or Wired Connection, and then integrates them to offer up to 95% of the combined speeds of all the connections. What this means is that you will be able to enjoy full HD YouTube/Vimeo video streams, smooth Skype video calls, VPN access or anything that demands greater Internet bandwidth.

You may remember Connectify Dispatch Combines Wi-Fi Connections From Neighbourhood To Let You Download Movies - the Kickstarter project that got our attention when it was launched. At that time, the software was Windows exclusive and the team did promise to bring it to OSX. Connectify Switchboard makes the technology cross platform and is available to both OSX & Windows users. The team says that their channel bonding technology allows you to speed up single socket applications (like YouTube Videos or Dropbox file transfers) as well. The startup will rollout and maintain speed servers around the world so that it can speed up Internet connections no matter where you are.

Check out the Connectify Switchboard project on Kickstarter on the source link. You may back the project with minimum $1 and we'd definitely encourage you to do so. The team expects to roll out the service by November 2013.

Just got an update from the founders -

Backers of the Connectify Switchboard Kickstarter project can now vote for the location of the next Speed Server to be rolled out during the campaign. An interactive “heat map” at #-Link-Snipped-# shows where the company currently has servers, and where backer interest is most fervent for upcoming Speed Servers. By posting in project comments, on Facebook, and Tweeting with the hashtag #backswitchboard with their location, Connectify’s Kickstarter backers can add their location requests directly to the heat map.
