You have already seen #-Link-Snipped-# but what if touch functionality was added to these behemoths? 3M Touch Systems has made it possible. This multi-touch table has 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution and supports 40 simultaneous touches. The table's projective capacitive display runs on wired-based sensors instead of ITO-based sensors as it allowed its manufacturers to take it to this size without compromising on the quality.

Coupled with the touch capable Windows 8 we sure hope to see some amazing applications running on this display. This device is still in the prototype stage and the company hopes to achieve 100 simultaneous touches capability when it is rolled out for the public during the third quarter of this year at an unspecified price. The company is also displaying 46” and 32” multi-touch tables along with 32” multi-touch wall displays and 32” interactive multi-touch retail product selectors at the ongoing CES 2013.
