It’s probably safe to say that 3D printing (or additive manufacturing) is at the very cutting edge of industrial technology: most of industry still doesn’t really understand what it’s capable of and how — or when, indeed, whether — it should be used. So if the mind of industry isn’t made up yet, is the school really the best place for this technology?
