Surprisingly, the Kerala smartphone market is growing at unbelievable rates. Rohant Shyam, BU operations head of XOLO said that the smartphone market in Kerala has crossed about 100,000 devices a month and placing the right quality of products in the correct price range is what the company is aiming for. Shyam says that they are targeting about 5% of the market share in the region.

Apparently, there is a huge demand for the Android smartphones below Rs.10,000 in India. The pricing of the phones is very crucial for success in Indian markets and the success of brands depends a lot on the quality of after-sales service provided by the companies. Features wise, the Q-series phones are mostly at par with the competition.
