It all began when Xiaomi and Amazon joined hands together for the first time to launch Redmi Note Prime in India on December 2015. March 2016 witnessed the exclusive launch of Redmi Note 3 which stood as one of the most successful phone of that year. Now we are in 2017 and it is going to experience a similar trend as Xiaomi will soon unveil another new Redmi device in India.
Yes, you heard it right. With all the rumors about Xiaomi 6 and Xiaomi Redmi Pro2 still in the air, Amazon will play the host as Xiaomi will unveil a new Redmi device on March 20 exclusively via Amazon.
One of the largest e-commerce website of India, Amazon has already started reaching out to the enthusiasts by allowing them to subscribe for the event. The tagline of the event #Time to Get Smarter hints towards the launch of Redmi device with a better processor. Xiaomi has always preferred Qualcomm and the new Redmi device might feature a Qualcomm processor that the previous Redmi devices were devoid of. The tagline also reveals a few more things if we take a closer look to its design. We can find the number 4 efficiently blended in the design which can stand for either RAM capacity or model number or Quad processor.
Though, things are not clear as of now , we will keep feeding your enthusiastic minds with the latest information as soon as we get any clarification.
Xiaomi has also released a video describing its journey since 2014 in India where the company has tried to bring our focus to its flagship devices, achievements and what more to expect from the company in future. The company has mentioned in their video that they will soon

It's high time Xiaomi should introduce the Mi TV in India. Phones are good; but Xiaomi has very interesting products in the Chinese markets. I've heard lot of praise for the MiTV and can't wait to try it. LeECO is doing super cool and the 55" 4K television they introduced is actually quite cool!
