Chinese electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has taken things to the next level by unveiling their new phablet, the Mi Max today in China. Xiaomi has supersized everything on the Mi Max, from the display to the battery to the internal memory. The smartphone runs the new MIUI 8 Android customisation skin that is based on Android Marshmallow. The MIUI 8 consists of features like power saving mode that freezes background app activity, limiting chain start-ups, multi window management, redesigned gallery and calculator and the option of splitting the phone into two accounts for managing apps with different signups. Moving on let’s discuss the Xiaomi Mi Max in detail.

When it comes to the cameras on the Xiaomi Mi Max, we have got a 16MP Phase Detection Auto Focus sensor on the rear and a 5MP 85 degree wide angle sefie shooter on the front. All the three variants have a hybrid dual-SIM slot that can add an additional microSD card for storage or a second SIM card. The Xiaomi Mi Max is powered by a huge 4850mAh battery that can easily last for two days on average use. The Xiaomi Mi Max comes with 4G, Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth connectivity. The Xiaomi Mi Max goes on sale in China sometime next week and we have no information if the smartphone will make its way into other countries like India or not.
