Word Of Mouth Publicity

Few days ago, we introduced a poll on the front page of CrazyEngineers. The poll asks the users, "How did you come to know about CrazyEngineers?". The results so far are as follows -
How did you come to know about CE?

    [*]Friend / Colleague Recommendation (38%, 33 Votes)
[*]Found CE through search engine (31%, 27 Votes)
    [*]Link on a website / blog (27%, 23 Votes)
[*]CE's banner at an event (4%, 3 Votes)

The top referral for CrazyEngineers is through word of mouth. That's purely amazing! It tells us that all CEans are doing a fantastic job of making CE a resourceful, fun & a useful place for engineer around the globe. You are smart, you are brilliant and you won't recommend CE unless you love CE and find it useful & interesting.

Psst! Join CE!
Growing through word of mouth publicity is indeed great. We usually trust recommendations from our friends more than we'd trust an advertisement. That is the reason why CE did not spend a buck on promotions & marketing. Our growth so far is purely because of word of mouth and search engines.
In our #-Link-Snipped-#, [Ex. Chief Evangelist of Apple Corporation] the man who made evangelism famous; Mr. Guy Kawasaki gave us a very important message. He said, "Build something good enough, and “they will come. Engineering is hard–marketing is easy." We too, believe in Guy's philosophy. We've been working hard at what we think we are good at - engineering great content relevant and useful to engineers & also making CE Forums a cool place to be in.
CE is thankful to all of you for actively helping us reach so many engineers out there. But the mission is not yet over. If you are reading this, please do tell your friends & colleagues about CrazyEngineers. We are sure they will love CE and be thankful to you for introducing them to CE.
We all look forward to having you as an active member of our almost 50,000 engineer team. 😀!
