WIZCOM's Quicktionary TS Premium Can Scan, Translate & Act As Dictionary

Wizcom Quicktionary is your portable scanner, translator and dictionary. This tiny gadget is perfect for researchers and students who often visit libraries to read books written in languages they're not familiar with. The Quicktionary can easily scan a word or full sentence and immediately provide word-by-word translation. This smart gadget understands idioms, phrases and also reads out the scanned line via inbuilt speaker with correct pronunciation. It allows you to store and transfer around 20k lines of text.

The Quicktionary supports about 45 dictionaries (#-Link-Snipped-#). Other features include identification of  inflected words along with display of their corresponding entries, recognition of 30k words & expressions for every dictionary, 'history' option to roll-back to last 80 words, text-to-speech technology for pronunciation of the scanned or translated word, recognition of vast types of fonts, automatic merging of two words attached with hyphen etc.

The device shows up to 5 lines of text on its touch screen - which can be operated via a stylus. Words can be manually inserted via the virtual keyboard with the help of stylus. When inserting words, the device can auto-complete words by looking for them in its word-database. Few models support interactive games which you can play to improve your vocabulary. The gadget has been designed for both right and left handed users.

The Quicktionary works on ARM7 TDMI, 16 bit, 80 MHz processor with 16-bit, 64k RAM. Various models have different storage capacity with minimum of 4MB. The optical scanner has 128 pixels linear array image sensor
@ 400 DPI resolution.
