Windows New Logo In Windows 8 Consumer Preview

We had tons of news covered about Windows 8 and have been following the saga since the announcement of the new Operating System. We had also covered news about the Developers Preview but now just days away from the release of Consumer Preview of the OS, there are reports of new Windows logo being featured in the version.

From the day we have been using Windows '95 we have noticed the four squared Window feature during start up, the Start button and various other places and applications and of course with some design modifications throughout the series of different OS versions from Microsoft. But there are now reports suggesting the replacement of the well documented logo with a new one. The design still remains the same four squared Window but this time the Window seems to be more straight than the floating design of previous versions.

With the #-Link-Snipped-#, it would be interesting to see where the new logo features. There seems to be a lot of photoshopped images available everywhere but #-Link-Snipped-# have also images of devices and leaked images sporting the new logo.

There is nothing official about the new logo yet and we also think Microsoft will not choose to change the Windows logo which has been part of identity of the company for about two decades. Set your eyes and senses in the waiting mode as we might have to wait till February 29th where the Windows 8 Consumer Preview is #-Link-Snipped-# at MWC 2012.
