Windows 8 Release Preview Announced Accidentally; Official Post Now Removed

Windows 8 Release Preview was due in the first week of June, but a post on the newly created 'Windows Hardware and Driver Developer Blog' (now empty) has revealed the availability of the Release Preview to be on 31st May. According to the author Chuck Chan, Corporate VP of Windows Development team, the Release Preview is available today. The post was made on 30th May but was signed below as May 31, 2012.

Currently these links are not active but will be live once the Windows 8 Release Preview is officially available. You can keep following the blog to get the latest from the Windows 8 Development team on application and driver development till the final version release of Windows 8 which is scheduled for second half of 2012.
