The great coral reefs are all but gone. Along with them many species dependent on them are extinct. Many more organisms are either already extinct or will be soon. Humans themselves may be on the way out.

A huge number of glaciers have vanished. Funerals for them are being conducted.

Let’s gird up our loins and start doing something to mitigate this crime against nature.

Civil engineers can do a lot in this.
