Is this the first time you've received the error? Or it's a fresh error on a fresh install? As I read it - your system has 2x512MB + 2x2GB RAM, right ?

Guess, likely your BIOS is affected by either malware or virus...

The BIOS (basic input/output system) is not part of your computer's operating system; it is embedded in the firmware of the motherboard in the flash memory. It is quite rare for the BIOS to become infected with malware; viruses usually attack portions of the operating system located on the computer hard drive. Since the BIOS is analogous to the starter motor on an automobile engine, the most obvious sign of a virus-infected BIOS is the inability of the computer to boot. Another obvious sign is repeated error messages stating that something is wrong with the BIOS and the user should go to a certain website for a solution. Finally, error messages about "overclocking" or "memory malfunction" may mean that a virus has attacked the BIOS and reset some of the default settings.

Instructions to clean up the content... 😀

    1. Launch your antivirus software and scan the hard disk drive for viruses. Assuming that the drive is virus-free, back up all important data to separate media such as a thumb drive, USB hard drive or CD/DVD discs.

    2. Enter the BIOS settings menu by clicking on the appropriate key, which varies from one computer to the next. Any of the following may be the hot key on your system: F1, F2, F8, F10, Esc+F2, or others. If you are unsure of the key sequence for accessing the BIOS setup menu, refer to your computer's user manual or the manufacturer's website for this information.

    3. Look for the option to "Reset to Default" or "Load Default Settings" or "Restore Default Settings" once you've reached the BIOS setup menu. This option is usually found in the lower right quadrant of the BIOS settings screen.

    4. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to the field indicated in the previous step. When the field is selected, it will be highlighted. Press the "Enter" key and be sure to "Save Changes" when you exit from the BIOS setup menu.

    5. Reboot the computer and watch for errors. If the error messages that you were seeing before no longer appear, proceed with normal operation. If error messages persist, go to the next step.

    6. Use a separate computer to navigate to the computer manufacturer's website. Locate and download the "Flash BIOS" program. Save to a DVD, CD or thumb drive.

    7. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to install a "clean" version of the BIOS. This process varies from one manufacturer to another, as well as from one operating system to the next.

    8. Disconnect the computer power source and manually disconnect the internal hard disk drive. With some computers manufactured after 2008, it may not be necessary to disconnect the hard drive to reset the BIOS. Power up and reset the boot order in the BIOS to boot from the DVD drive or the USB port with the thumb drive that contains the "clean" BIOS, then follow the manufacturer's instructions.
