  The only book i refer is Google.Better first you analyse how other browsers are made.Then decide what all special features you want in your browser which any other browser do not have.Start making it ,I will help you in coding part if I could.Just i need time to devote more & more time for this forum. 😉

  Its interesting choosing java web browser as a mini project.Could u briefly explain about ur web browser.Because analyse based on ur requirement.whether ur web browser will be like IE or u meant like search engine like Google.

  I thought u would have completed that project becoz i have replied for an old post.Anyway Java web browser will be good becas IE and other browsers are platform dependent whereas web browser using Java will be platform independent and hope we can do it by java
