Vivo V7 with 18:9 FullView Display launched in Indonesia, set to be unveiled in India on Nov.20

Vivo V7 will officially be launching in India on Nov.20th at a ceremony in New Delhi. Meanwhile the smartphone has already been unveiled in Indonesia for IDR 3,799,000 (approx. Rs. 18,300). The major highlights of the smartphone are- a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS FullView display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a 24 Megapixel front camera of f/2.0 aperture with soft Moonlight Glow.

Vivo V7 comes powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 Octa-core SoC clocked at 1.8 GHz. On the memory front, the smartphone sports 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card. Its older sibling Vivo V7+ launched earlier in the month of September this year, packs 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of expandable storage. It however runs on a bigger 3,225 mAh battery compared to 3,000 mAh battery of V7. Running on Android 7.1 Nougat with Funtouch OS 3.2 on top, V7 supports a Dual-SIM feature. There is no Home button on front however it does flaunt a rear fingerprint sensor at the center.

The camera setup on the rear of Vivo V7 houses a 16-megapixel camera of f/2.0 aperture along with an LED flash while the connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is likely to be made available in two variants of Gold and Matte Black via online e-commerce retailer Flipkart in India.

Vivo V7+ with some beefed up features has been priced at Rs. 21,990 in India; and our guess is that V7 is likely to be priced at around the same price in India as in Indonesia (approx. Rs. 18,300). Earlier this month, Vivo had also launched it’s yet another selfie centered smartphone in China #-Link-Snipped-#. The device featured a 24 MP selfie camera.
