Tikona broadband - one of the leading Internet companies in India has announced the plans to launch 4G services in India. The pricing of the plans is quite attractive and Tikona promises  that it will begin at 2-5 Paise / MB. Tikona's 4G services will launch in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh (east and west) and Himachal Pradesh in the second half of the next year. The company hopes to disrupt the 4G markets in India with their aggressive tariff plans.

We're quite excited to see that a number of telecom operators and Internet broadband services companies eyeing to launch the faster Internet connections in India. We are not sure whether this move will help deepen the penetration of Internet in India - but we're quite sure that the prices of 4G are surely coming down in 2013. We expect Airtel to lower their 4G pricing soon, which is currently at 13-15 paise per MB.
