Theo De Raadt forks openSSL as code is beyond repair.

Theo De Raadt, founder of openBSD forked openSSL which contains heartbleed security bug. Theo with his openBSD team found that openSSL is not possible to repair. LibreSSLteam already removed 90K lines of depreciated C code and are working on rewriting crytographic software library.
Better cryptographic lib is coming! This guy holds history of doing what he says.

So, openSSL will be globally dropped after release of libreSSL ?
