The Legendary 'Unicorn' In New Avatar: Yu Yunicorn Launched at 13K-1

Apparently, Micromax Inc. is all set to compete with yesterday’s hit ASUS Zenvolution. Just after the exclusive debut of Micromax CANVAS tab p701, the integrated Micromax + Cyanogen spin-off officially unveiled Yu Yunicorn, again an exclusively Flipkart content. What’s You? Err… I meant What is Yu. A technology brand that is always inclined to replace the “E”/ “U” later from the mythical words with “Y” and tag it with their latest products like this one, a complete sack of contemporary technologies wrapped with modifications and style. Formally speaking, a joint venture of the aforementioned companies to articulate electronics for the sake of “usability” and “accessibility” with a toned touch of creation.

As reported, the Yu Yunicorn is a 4-philic evolution. The components adding to its specifications have “4” of what they have. Starting from its external looks, it features an all-aluminum metal uni-body structure with 2.5D round glasses that shine at the edges. Packed with Li-Polymer 4000 mAh battery, the phone comes equipped with Mediatek Helio P10 octa(4x2) core processor supported by a 4GB RAM. Talking about its storage, it’s a mini bank featuring a (4x8) 32 GB ROM with microSD expandable memory support up to 128 GB.

Not depriving the youth, the inbuilt graphics MALI-T860 works as a talisman for mobile gamers. Relieving one from monotonous password system, the phone features a novel finger print scanner that could unlock the system in 0.2 seconds. Another fantastic 4 examples can be drawn from its battery back-up specification. The 4000 mAh battery readily serves 4 complete days without charging in moderate usage.

This miniature marvel boasts of Yunicorn’s DTS audio-entertainment system clipped with dynamic volume, automatic bass management synchronized with multiple filter types and a harmonic tune. Highlighting Yunicorn’s camera, the phone offers a 13 MP rear facing Camera with a 5 MP selfie camera combo. Owing to OV13853 PureCel image sensor, the picture is comparable to Ultra High Definition quality.

The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and delivers a pure native utility compatible application named AROUND YU for enhanced customer services. Some literal geeky advancements related to MiMedia cloud storage would really add a bonus to the device.

According to Rahul Sharma, Founder at the Yu Televentures, the company is yet to discover its limits as it just established the best partnership with MiMedia, through which customers could enjoy unprecedented digital content with hi-tech security. One can easily lay hands on this phone at an expense of 12,999 only, today’s selling price on Flipkart. With UDIO wallet system and 10% cash back offer from SBI, it turns out to be a pocket saver.
