What does 304,304L,316,316L indicates in SS304 and SS316 ?

    That is just a nomenclature give as per metalurgical composition or u can call it as grade. Grade 304 of SS has 18% chromium which is the main component. Like wise you pick any other grade compostion and quality will vary.
