Spice Stellar Craze Mi-355 Priced At Rs. 6599 Enters Indian Android Phones Market

After Micromax rolled out #-Link-Snipped-#, it was time for other competitors to buck up. So, Spice has launched its Android smartphone called 'Stellar Craze Mi-355'. This Android Gingerbread (2.3) device can be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) and sports a 3.5 inch capacitive TFT LCD display of 480*320 pixel resolution and capable of displaying 262K colors. Underneath its candy bar structure it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 (single core) processor clocking in at 800 MHz and a graphics processor operating at 200 MHz. It has a 512 MB RAM and internal memory capacity of 140 MB and the external memory can be expanded up to 32GB by using microSD card. This smart phone has dual SIM facility but only one slot can accommodate 3G SIM. In terms of photography, this device has a rear 5 MP camera with dual LED flash and a front 0.3 MP camera that can be used to make video calls via Skype.

Its 1420 mAh Lithium Ion battery has been claimed provide 4 hours of talk time (2G) and 8 days standby. For security and privacy purposes the smart phone is preloaded with NetQin antivirus and a secure vault software. Although the MRP of this phone is Rs. 7,999/-, it is available on a shopping website at INR 6,599.
