Social Q&A Smartphone App ‘Jelly’ Launches On Google Play & App Store

Fluther fame Ben Finkel and Twitter founder Biz Stone have launched a social Q&A smartphone app called as ‘Jelly’. The smartphone app is available on Android and iOS platforms. The main purpose of the Jelly app is to serve as a search engine that answers your queries by using your social network connections. The app uses your Facebook or Twitter credentials to log-in and allows you to post a question to your Facebook friends and Twitter followers irrespective of whether they use the app or not. If your immediate online acquaintances fail to answer your question the app then allows them to forward your query to their social networks and put the question to the public. The app also encourages its users to ask questions in form of images. The app lets you click images and crop, reframe, zoom and draw on them before posting the question associated with the image. You are also free to upload any previously shot images from your smartphone’s image gallery or even any image that you found on Google Image search. The app then alerts you when anyone posts an answer.

The Jelly app relies on the human nature of helping others to generate answers. The app is also a quicker way of obtaining answers since it uses a smartphone platform. People can ask questions and post answers on the move. So go ahead and download the app from #-Link-Snipped-# or Apple iTunes #-Link-Snipped-# and let us know your reviews of the app in the comment section below. But before that we would like you to go through the app’s promotional video below.
