smart automobile-intelligent live event data recorder(EDR) and tracker.

Project Abstract / Summary : •Vehicular communication and travelers safety are critical issues in developing countries and its very difficult to know about the location , performance of the vehicle and state of the travelers.
•To overcome these issues with technology advancement in communication media, the smart vehicle tracking, monitoring and controlling is proposed in this project.
•In this proposed approach, there is a unique key which can be accessed by the traveller during the travel to accesses remote vehicle status.
•In addition, this approach supports real-time recording the critical situation of the vehicle such as engine rpm, brake position, steering angle and the speed of the automobile at the time of the crash by using event data recorder (EDR).

Why did you choose to work on this project topic : To provide safety for the traveler in the call taxi. This will provide more security especially for girls. In our project we can track and monitor the system. future scope is we are creating a unique key which will be transferring from web server to the EDR(even data recorder) inside the car through wireless medium. when a person enters the car, through Bluetooth the unique key from EDR will get transferred to the persons mobile as a link. now this link can be sent to their relatives, police, friends who can able to track and monitor the car.
