Sky City China @ 838m Is World's Tallest Building To Be Built In Just 90 Days!

Sky City is going to kiss the China skies very soon. With a height of 838m, this skyscraper is going to be the world's tallest building surpassing the insanely famous Burj Dubai and China's own Shanghai Tower. Chinese engineers from Broad Sustainable Building (BSB), a construction company are planning to achieve this feat in an extraordinarily small time of 90 days. Sky City's construction will begin in November 2012 at Changsha, the provincial capital of Hunan Province and will be completed by January 2013.

This 220-story building, linked by 104 elevators will cost a whooping US$628 million to the company. This is not the first time that BSB is set to accomplish a record with its construction time. They have previously built a 15-story building in six days in June 2010, and erecting a 30-story hotel in 360 hours in December 2011. The company makes this possible by piecing together the prefabricated components in its factory.

What's more to expect from this mega structure is that it will feature the world's highest hotel called 'The J Hotel'. Impressive, isn't it? We really look forward to the later part of the year to see this construction in action. Aren't we looking at the urban & futuristic development taking pace all over the world?
