Should we all be excited about Reliance 4G, FTTH services?

Reliance has confirmed that they will start rolling out their network by December this year. So far, only Airtel has been able to launch 4G services in maximum number of cities in India and cities like Hyderabad lead when it comes to quality FTTH services at cheaper prices. I'm using BSNL FTTH - and it's not at all economical!

Reliance entry into broadband should change all of that. I'm expecting cheaper Internet and a pricing war. Wondering if we should be excited about Reliance entry into telecom, broadband. What do you say?

Competition is always healthy! The more FTTH players there are, the better for consumers. Its most likely that the providers will share fiber infrastructure to save deployment costs and local council approvals (instead of digging up the roads again to lay the fiber).
