Sansui launches 4G enabled Horizon 1 smartphone at Rs 3,999

Japanese firm Sansui Electric has come up with a new budget Android smartphone, the Sansui Horizon 1 for the Indian market. The key highlight point of the device is, it supports 4G VoLTE and is priced at a super affordable Rs 3,999. The Sansui Horizon 1 comes in golden and black color options and will be exclusively available via the Indian e-commerce major www.flipkart.com, starting today.

As for specifications, the smartphone features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) twisted nematic display with pixel density of 218ppi and 2 point touch type sensor. Under the hood, there is the quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and the ARM Mali 400 MP2 GPU paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage with room for further expansion by up to 64GB via a microSD card.

On the photography department, the Horizon 1 is equipped with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Samsung's S5K5E8 sensor at the back. It is accompanied by a dual LED flash and features like face detection, HDR, Panorama, Night Mode, GIF Camera, Continous shots mode for 3, 6 and 10 shots along with support for 30fps video recording and slow motion capture. For selfie enthusiasts, there is a 3.2-megapixel front facing camera with LED flash and 30fps video recording capabilities.

On the connectivity front, there is 4G VoLTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.
The entire package is powered by a 2000mAh Li-ion battery running on Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box.

The smartphone also includes a panic button feature that sends an immediate distress signal with the user's current GPS location to pre-selected contacts informing them whether the user needs any help, in the case of an emergency.
