Samsung To Launch A New Tablet Device at MWC On 26th February

Samsung, on Wednesday, has released a teaser on Twitter via which they are sending out invitation for their upcoming press conference. The event has been scheduled to occur on February 26, 7 PM at Mobile World Congress (MWC) and will be live streamed on Samsung’s official website. In the teaser, there is a picture that hints towards a new device which is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2017. It is already known that Samsung Galaxy S8 - Summary of leaked features is not going to make it at this year’s MWC and is likely to release somewhere around March 2017. However, several leaks and rumors point towards the introduction of a tablet, especially Galaxy Tab S3.



Samsung has released Galaxy Tab S2 in the year of 2015 and since then nothing has been added to the Galaxy Tab’s list. However, as seen in the above teaser, it is clear that the rumors about a new tablet device is going to be true. The teaser shows the bottom edge of a tablet which happens to be the new Galaxy Tab S3 as quoted by some third party sources. Though nothing is clear as of now, following are the rumored specs of this new upcoming device –

• A 9.6 inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels

• Minimum thickness of 5.8 mm and a metal clad crafted body

• A rear camera of 12 MP and front camera of 5 MP

• Snapdragon 820 SoC at its heart with 4 GB of RAM

• Android 7.0 Nougat as OS

• Two variants – namely SM-TB25 (Wi-Fi model) and SM-T820 (4G LTE model)

• Expected price – around Rs 41,000 in the Indian Currency

Hence, it won’t be wrong to say that almost everything is unsure about this new device. Whether it is Galaxy Tab S3 or any other device, its fate will be sealed only after its launch or any official clarification. Though rumors and leaks have always played their part to hype the interest about a new upcoming device, the launch of a new tablet, especially like that of Galaxy Tab S3 will be very crucial for the company taking into account the recent #-Link-Snipped-#.
