Samsung May Release Galaxy Tab With 8.9" Screen

Samsung's first tablet, the mighty Samsung Galaxy Tab had good 7" screen. Then there were talks of standardizing the tablet screen and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 had a good 10.1" screen. However, the engineers at Samsung must have realized that 10.1" may not suit everyone - considering the mobility aspect of the tablet. There are rumors that the company will launch another tablet, with a 8.9" screen. #-Link-Snipped-# reported that a Samsung representative informed the media over telephone about the release. Plus there were news in the local media that confirmed the launch.

It's further being said that that the new tablet will be released all over the world in association with telecom operators. There is no official word on pricing and exact launch dates. Few sources are reporting that the launch may be as early as next month.

We'd like to hope that Samsung will introduce Super AMOLED or SAMOLED plus display in the mid-sized tablet with Google's Honeycomb (Android 3.0). Also, a must have feature will be at least a 5MP camera on rear side and a 2 MP camera on the front.

We'd like to pose a question - what is the ideal size for a tablet? Should we all go by Apple's standards or 7-8" is the perfect choice?
