Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student's Edition Announced At Best Price For 2 Weeks

Samsung Electronics America Inc. has recently announced a Student's Version of Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. It is a specially packed product that includes the tablet (8GB, white colour), a keyboard dock and an USB adapter at $249.99, which would otherwise cost you $350. Not at all a bad deal, the keyboard dock and USB adapter come for free! It also includes a series of recommended educational apps that can be downloaded from Google Play. The preloaded Polaris Office allows editing of all Microsoft Office file formats, viewing PDF, image files, and decompressing ZIP files. The offer is time limited and is valid only for two weeks, starting today (19th August) up till 1st of September. Also, it is available with selected retailers which include Best Buy, Amazon, Tiger Direct, Costco and Fry's.

This .76lbs tab having a 7" TFT (PLS) display with a screen resolution of 1024 x 600 runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and is powered by a 4000 mAH (Li-ion) battery.
