Samsung Galaxy SIII Gets Second Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean Update

Samsung Galaxy SIII (LTE) is getting another shot of the Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.1). It's being reported that the Samsung Galaxy SIII phone is now ready for the OTA firmware update in South Korea. Other countries are expected to get added to the rollout list soon; but we don't have further information on this. Till that time, you'll have a valid reason to be jealous of the SIII users from South Korea.

Samsung had started rolling out the first Jelly Bean update to the SIII users around end of September. After several user complaints about the battery drain issue and a few interface related bugs; Samsung decided to postpone the next update. It looks like Samsung's engineers have fixed those nagging bugs and have pushed the update. The latest update is being offered through Samsung's proprietary software 'Kies' and also over the air (OTA). Here's a video that shows Jelly Bean on Galaxy SIII -
