Samsung has upped its game after the Note 7 debacle and brought some pizzazz to its ‘On’ series with the launch of a new smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt was launched today and will be available on October 23 at midnight from Flipkart. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is quite pricey as compared to other On series smartphones at Rs. 18,490 but it packs in a lot of features to justify its price tag. Unlike the plastic bodied smartphones the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has a full metal unibody and the front is covered in 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is preloaded with S Secure that locks apps and makes it safer to use public Wi-Fi. Another first is the presence of S Power Planning that smartly manages battery use with features like Reserve Battery, Extend Battery and Call Forwarding on Zero battery. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt features a fingerprint sensor on the home button that can be used to lock and unlock the smartphone at your whim.


The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt sports a 5.5inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution display which as we mentioned earlier is covered in Corning Gorilla Glass. Underneath we have a Exynos chipset that houses a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU, ARM Mali T830 GPU and 3GB of RAM to run Android Marshmallow. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has an internal memory of 32GB and a microSD card slot gobbles up cards of up to 256GB. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt has a 13 MP camera on the rear and a f1.9 aperture 8MP lens on the front.

The connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt are Wi-Fi, microUSB and Bluetooth along with 4G LTE. You can find an accelerometer, light and proximity sensor on the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt. The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt will be available in Gold and Black colour variants.
