Samsung Adds Galaxy Tab 7.7 & Galaxy Note To It's Arsenal

At the company's IFA event today the company showcased two new high-end Android based devices. One of them being the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 which runs on the Honeycomb, Android 3.2 OS & comes with TouchWiz UX. It's got a 7.7-inch(1200x800) Super AMOLED Plus display panel with excellent viewing angles. Some other technical specifications include a dual-core 1.4 GHz CPU (Samsung Exynos chhipset), 16GB and 64GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11n WiFi, HSPA+ radio with GPS, a 3MP rear & 2MP front facing camera and yes it has got a LED flash too. The Tab is armed with a 5100mAh battery which claims to have a 10 hours of back-up on full usage and weighs just around 355-grams including the battery and is 7.9mm thick.

The other one being the Samsung Galaxy Note which packs a 5.3-inch (800x1280) Super AMOLED display along with a dual-core 1.4GHz processor and a 2,500mAh battery. The most striking feature is the 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording with a flash & a 2MP front camera. It weighs just around 178-grams and is only 9.65mm thick. It comes with Android 2.3 layered with TouchWiz on the top. It has got a touch optimized interface named "S Pen" to take advantage of the stowaway pen for taking notes, drawing, etc. Moreover Samsung will be releasing  S Pen SDK for third party developers for building more apps for organising photos, drawing and other such stuffs.

Samsung has not revealed any pricing or release dates for both of the products but they are expected to release near the end of the year.
