Retro Resurgence As Royal Enfield Gets To Vie With Vintage Models!

For the first time in the 41 year's history of Concours, a Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500cc motorcycle has received a go-ahead from the Kenya Motor Sport Federation. The event has different categories for cars, and motorcycles, 12 for cars, and eight for bikes, and owners would be rewarded by the team officials, for maintaining the vintage vehicles. The Concours has got 12 classes for cars and eight for motorcycles and honors the owners of well maintained machines who prepare them for appraisal by a team of officials. The Royal Enfield Bullet would engage in a contest with other veteran, vintage and post vintage car models made in 1940 or even before, in the Access Kenya Africa Concours d'Elegance, operated by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club at Nairobi Racecourse on 25th September.

Royal Enfield was a part of the British arms manufacturer Royal Small Arms, and the link resulted in the motorcycle company's motto of  "Made like a gun." It is the world's earliest motorcycle, which still gets developed in its Chennai plant, in India. Until 1911, it was manufactured in England, but the plant got terminated over there, and was disposed to Enfield India, and from then on it is known as the Royal Enfield from Enfield.

The Royal Enfield Bullet would be staged at #-Link-Snipped-# by Nimrod Africa Limited, which is also enrolling a 1930 Ford Model A. The Enfield getting into the Concours is a police motorcycle, imported to Kenya to acquire contract for Kenya Police motorcycles.
