Remote Desktop Administration for network Security
Project Abstract / Summary : This project “Remote Desktop Administration”, a derivative of Remote Administration Application, is a network based project. The objective of this project is to develop an application that can control remote computer through network. There are three preliminary components i.e. Server, Network and Client. Server acts as a Master while client is similar to Slave. But, the server can control the client only if it is permitted by the client for remote access. The basic idea behind the project is to capture the screen from the client and send to server. In response, mouse events and key events are captured from the Server and exchanged those events between Server and Client via network where same desktop can be tuned as Server or Client according to user’s will. This project also includes the facility of the interaction between server and client exchanging text messages termed as Text Chat. This program allows any computer to control other PCs remotely.
Why did you choose to work on this project topic : To have an control on the remote desktop system. so that the work can be carried out at a faster rate.
There are a number of changes to the design that could be added.
1. Remote Drag and Drop.
Transfer files between two computers easily by dropping a file or folder from host computer onto a remotely controlled computer—or from a remote computer onto host.
2. Remote Copy & Paste.
Copy & Paste information between local computer and a remote computer
3. Auto Install.
With automatic policy-based installation of software packages. administrator can stage software to install on remote. mobile. or online systems. Auto Install is ideal for distributing software to mobile computers.
4. Accesses from Embedded system.
People usually carry the PDAs. ‘Which can be used to access the remote desktop? This important feature will provide any tune any time any access.
