Quadrocopters: Sensors + Robotics = Awesomness!

Swiss engineering is crossing the limits set by imagination and have some serious awesomeness to offer with Quadrocopters. The ETH- Institute For Dynamic Systems & Control (IDSC) have been working on Quadrocopters [​IMG]that may just change the future of robotics, aviation with the help of super sensors. The researchers believe that we are already at the threshold of embedding sensors everywhere - from nano to macro level on any physical device at very economical cost. It indicates that major breakthrough in sensors & computing technology will be decided by how we interface and control our environment. There are however serious challenges. One of the biggest challenge among all is to be able to derive most appropriate decision based on inputs provided by distributed information over a distributed network.

As a part of their ongoing research, the engineers have developed Quadrocopters. The Zurich based lab recently released the video of quadrocopters juggling balls - all on their own. Check out the following video and share your thoughts below -
