Pop This Camera Pill - Beam Live HD Videos From The Intestine

Researchers of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology have proposed to formulate an upgraded camera pill that can beam live videos from the insides of the intestine. Cameras consumed as a pill create a possibility to try out areas of the stomach and intestines that can't be accessed by employing conventional equipment, but present technology has the potential to beam just two images per second.

This pill boasts of featuring a wireless ultra-wideband technology having enough bandwidth to deal with the live, high-quality video transmission from the intestine.

#-Link-Snipped-#It is accounted that few of the components have been tried out on pigs. The tests showed that it is possible to obtain potent video signals while the transmitter is 5cm deep in the abdomen or the chest cavity. The depth of the transmitter and the video quality are inversely related. To function as proposed, the pill needs to be fitted in with a battery much larger than the one presently used, and also a light source to make the transmitted video capable of being seen. Then, by applying compression algorithm, the researchers were capable of compressing the video to three per cent of its actual size, adequate to render video of high quality. This pill promises a lot many things for the time to come. If it works desirably, it could be installed to detect the damages in underwater oil pipes.
