Please Ask Final year project viva questions related to the topic SMARTkey/SMARTag which is an electronic toll collection system using 433 MHz RF antenna

The SMARTag aims to eliminate the delay on toll roads by cashless tolling. This system will automate the process of toll fee collection. The developed android application helps to pay the toll using various payment options from home itself. 

This project allows the payment for all the toll plazas that are present in the route/journey at once together through the app. 

The transmitter in the vehicle will broadcast a key that will be received by a receiver antenna at the toll plaza. After detecting key and verifying whether the payment is done they will get SMS on their registered mobile number. 

Any complaint of the stolen vehicle is sent to the police and that particular vehicle will become invalid and once it passes a toll plaza, the nearby police station will be informed about it. 

This technology has many advantages such as automatic toll collection, improvement in highway efficiency, Low fuel consumption, highly reliable, reduces air and noise pollution and it compares with records on database so as to come up with specific information like vehicles owner, address etc.
