Panasonic Eluga U is the new Android Smartphone in India launched today at a price of Rs. 18,990. The phone is already made available on the e-commerce site eBay at a discounted price of Rs. 17,490. Now the phone has some decent features to showcase, but we won't tag them impressive at the price the phone is offered at. Back in 2012, we were liberal enough to call Eluga series smartphone named Power 'Panasonic's Eluga Power Is the King Of Smartphones'. But in the last two years, the Android phone market has undergone a significant overhaul and with the range of options that consumers have to choose from, it's becoming more difficult by the day for companies to offer new phones with above-the-par features. Nevertheless, let us take a look at the specs and highlighted features of the all-new Panasonic Eluga U and decide for ourselves.

Running atop a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 graphics unit, the Eluga U has a 5-inch screen to flaunt with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution HD IPS display, well protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The latest version of Android i.e. 4.4 KitKat comes out-of-the-box with this phone. On the phone's rear end, there's a 13 megapixel camera with LED flash, whereas on the front side there's a 2-megapixel snapper, good enough for making video calls and taking selfies. The camera supports 1080p HD video recording.

Nothing Exciting about the gadget. Similar Specs are/will be available in much cheaper amount (some where between ~ 14 - 15k INR). & with competitiors like Asus Zenfone 6, Xiaomi Mi5 & One Plus One, Panasonic will lag far behind in the race.

P.S: Eluga should rethink about its Price. to mark its existence.
