I'm happy to announce our association with Baltic Robot Sumo-2011 and European Robot League, April 23, 2011. Michealsen Centras,Klaipeda, Lithuania.

Goals and aims of the Baltic Robot SUMO

  • Promotion of engineering and scientific thinking in the involved countries and organizations;
  • Promotion of technical creativity as a key to success;
  • Positioning robotics as an instrument to transfer and expand knowledge of different fields of modern science;
  • Attraction of students and pupils to the engineering thereby supporting universities and industry that are in constant lack of young and creative people;
  • Creation, maintenance and expansion of beneficial learning and communication environment among involved teams, people and organizations;
  • Advancement of the existing teams to rise their competitiveness in international context.
The idea is to invite all of the countries around the Baltic Sea to organize and to participate in the open Baltic Robot SUMO CUP series. Obviously, the participants are not limited to the Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
