Nubia, on Wednesday, has launched a new smartphone named Nubia N2 in India. The smartphone comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India at a price of Rs 15,999. Talking about the specs of the smartphone, Nubia has tried to make an honest attempt this time by offering a balanced set of hardware in Nubia N2. Apart from the massive battery, the smartphone hosts a powerful octa-core 64 bit CPU. With MediaTek (MTK) A53 architecture processor and 4 GB of RAM, the device offers fast response, irrespective of the application being used. It has 64 GB ROM with an expandable memory support of up to 128 GB on microSD.

Appearance wise, Nubia smartphones are second to none and Nubia N2 seems to follow that legacy. Crafted in aerospace grade Aluminium, the device has been given the nubiArc’s special curved design that makes it feel good in the hands. The back metal cover imparts a good texture to the device and offers a premium feel. The phone is available in two color variants namely – Gold and Black Gold of which both of them are available at the same price.

The device has a 5.5 inch HD OLED display which adds a unique feel to viewing and gaming experience. It has a fingerprint sensor integrated home button that unlocks the device in less than 0.2 seconds. Apart from this, the smartphone has a screen splitting feature which allows the user to access two applications at the same time. The phone comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 and has the Nubia Custom Edition 4.0 skin with all new updated features.

Camera quality is at its best as the device has a 16 MP front and 13 MP rear camera. The front camera is capable of capturing beautiful selfies even under low light and the built in enhancing software allows the brightness to be adjusted up to 150%. The rear camera has an f2.2 aperture with Phase Detection Autofocus and Electronic stabilization technology. It also has a 3D noise reduction feature that allows capturing noise free detailed images.

Connectivity options include the standard Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB- C and 3.5 mm jack. It also has 4G VoLTE support and two Nano-SIM slots with customizable option to assign which slot will be used for data and internet settings.

Hence, at a price of Rs 16k, Nubia N2 offers a balanced blend of design, hardware and massive battery power. The phone has been quoted to last 2 days on a single charge and thus, will be useful for users who prefer a device with a long lasting battery. Those who are looking for an overall smartphone at a decent price can definitely go with it, however, the only problem is the after-sale service that the user might face because of the limited number of service centers of Nubia in India.
