The new technology would make driving more safe and secure. This technology not only gives protection to the driver and occupants but also to the pedestrians around the vehicle. The Safety Shield consists of three advanced safety systems which include Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Moving Object Detection. The dashboard of the car has a 5.8 inch mounted screen, the Around View Monitor, which displays images from four separate cameras around the car.

Such smart technologies are only available in big luxury cars, but now Nissan aims in bringing this technology to the small car division. The Nissan Note will be launched in the UK, also a turbo diesel engine model will be available in the European market, and is expected to go on sale in Europe later in 2013.
