New 2015 Hero Passion Pro Launched - Specs, Price & More

Hero MotoCorp India has launched the new iteration of its popular bike. The new 2015 Passion Pro comes in 8 attractive colours & new features. Priced at Rs. 50,050 (ex-Showroom Mumbai) or Rs 49,450 (ex-showroom Bangalore), there's a lot of new stuff to look forward to. In the first look, you will find the symmetric beam headlamp, the stylish side cowl, the body coloured mirrors and the seamless tail lamp enhancing the basic design. That followed by a dialog-analog combo meter console and a newly designed six-spoke cast wheel sum up the new features of Passion Pro. On the engine front, not much has changed. There's the same 97.2 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine (mated to 4 speed constant mesh gearbox) which delivers a max power of 6.15 kW (8.36 Ps) @ 8000 rpm and max torque of 0.82 Kg-m (8.05 N.m) @ 5000 rpm.


The bike features Digital CDI ignition and side draft, variable Venturi type carburettor. On the design front, there's tubular double cradle frame chassis and 18 x 1.60 rim spoke wheels / cast wheels on both front and rear. The front disc break's diameter is 240 mm and both front & rear drum brakes have 130 mm internal expanding shoe type.

The front suspension comes with telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers, while the rear one has swing arm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers.

The 12.5 litre fuel tank comes with a flush type cap. The 35W headlamp features a halogen bulb, whereas a 10W (Amber Bulb) signal turn lamp comes with a clear lens.

The dimensions of the bike are : length 1980 mm, width 765 mm and height 1075 mm and it comes with 165 mm ground clearance and a 1235 mm wheelbase.

Hero hasn't yet declared the mileage for the new Hero Passion Pro. From earlier reports, it may be around 55-60 kmpl (yet unconfirmed).
