MTS India has come up with a new mid-budget phone for Indian consumers with MTS Blaze 4.5 - an Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 running smartphone that features Dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) Support and a 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon S4 Quad core processor. Sporting a 4.5" full touch capacitive TFT screen with 480 x 854 pixel resolution, the MTS Blaze 4.5 packs inside it a 1600 mAh battery that offers 4 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time. On the rear end, the phone features a 5 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus, whereas on the front side there's a 0.3 megapixel shooter just above the screen. To lure the customers, MTS India offers a 1,00,000 MB data offer on buying the phone. Users can use the mobile data to their heart's content and then carry forward the remaining data by simply recharging the next month. Smooth.

Equipped with Gravity, Proximity and Light sensors, on the memory front - the MTS Blaze 4.5 brings 1.88 GB (for Apps) and 1GB (Mass Storage), 1MB RAM and 4GB ROM. Thanks to the microSD card slot, users can extend the memory up to 32GB. Here's what the phone looks like -

Coming out of the box with the Blaze 4.5 smartphone are some of the company's apps including -MTS TV, MTS Planet and MTS Experience that bring in customized themes, wallpapers and piano unlocking. This pretty much sums up all about the new MTS Blaze series smartphone. The phone's priced at Rs. 9,999 and can be bought from a few online retail stores.

We believe that for extra Rs. 3000 bucks, if users can get a Moto G, MTS has a long way to catch up. What are your opinions on the new Android in India? Share with us in comments below.
